Our client is looking for a Sous Chef to join their skilled team of chefs at this Prestigious 4 Star Hotel in the South of Devon. As Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef with effective kitchen management, high food & hygiene standards and lead the team in creating memorable guest experiences with your high level of innovative culinary dishes.

This 2 AA Rosette Award-Winning hotel has been family run for over 120 years and pride themselves on delivering first class service to its customers.

The Role:
We are looking dedicated professionals who have a friendly approach, a can-do attitude and a passion for excellence. As Sous Chef you will assist in leading the guest experience and be able to work well under pressure supporting the Head Chef in all dynamics of the kitchen.

Your Experience:

• 5+ yrs in a fresh food fine dining kitchen operation
• Produced creative and inspiring dishes
• Pay close attention to detail and commit to providing outstanding levels of guest service
• Able to effectively communicate in the English Language, understand and carry out instructions
• Strong knowledge of HCCAP and stock ordering and cost controls
• Experience of working to a Rosette standard in food delivery
• Experience of hotels and banqueting is preferable.
• Food Hygiene Level 2
