Are you a passionate chef looking to take the next step in your culinary career? Our client is searching for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join their team at a renowned high-end restaurant that’s part of a charming 16-bedroom boutique hotel.

Famous for their exceptional steak offerings and an inspired à la carte menu that reimagines classic dishes with a modern twist, this award-winning restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced Bedfordshire Beef and fresh seasonal ingredients. The recent addition of a Garden Dining Room means even more guests can enjoy this incredible dining experience, with 40 extra covers.

 

The Role:

As a Junior Sous Chef, you'll be a vital part of the kitchen team, working closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards and contribute to creating exceptional dishes. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about quality ingredients, brings energy and creativity, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to communicate effectively, follow instructions precisely, and show a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service to our guests.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a fresh food kitchen
  • Grill experience is a plus
  • Own transport is essential due to the location
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy restaurant environment
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-focused approach
  • Passion for food and creativity
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts
