Our client is looking for a talented Junior Front of House Manager to join their team at this excellent high-end food Restaurant.

This premium award-winning restaurant is famous for their steaks counter, serving locally raised Bedfordshire Beef and an A la Carte Menu inspired by classic dishes from their culinary past recreated to a unique modern style. The restaurant is part of a 16 en-suite bedroom hotel and has recently completed a Garden Room extension creating an additional 40 covers in their restaurant. 

The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be willing to learn and show that they care.

The Role:

• Assist the General Manager and Head Waiter to ensure all departments and team members comply with health & safety, food hygiene and alcohol licensing regulations at all times.
• Ensuring a smooth, efficient service is maintained and that the product provided is to the required standard.
• Take reservations and ensure all bookings are communicated through the team.
• Help build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the objectives of the business.
• Ensure the efficient flow of service and standards are constantly met during service.
• Act as a role model to all employees by showing a positive approach to team morale through excellent support, training and communication.
• Ensure the restaurant is maintaining its agreed level of operating performance at all times.
• Assist with deliveries and notify the Manager when supplies are low.

• £27,000 - £30,400 – Based on a 40-45 hour working week. 
• Excellent Gratuities on average £90-£100 per week (£4.5k annually)
• Rota/Shift work - 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends
• Generous share of Gratuities, adding an extra 3-4k on top of Annual Salary
• Christmas Period Off - closed from Christmas Day (inclusive) to 1st week of January.
