Here are Hospitality Connection, we are committed to looking after our clients, candidates and everyone we interact with. This includes how we look after and process personal data. We want to make sure that everyone we engage has confidence that their information will be kept secure, processed fairly and deleted securely. 


 

The Types of Personal Information we collect and what we do with it 

We collect and process personal details including your name, email, address and CV (including employment and education history). 

We use this information to assess your suitability for the positions our clients are recruiting to. If you are considered to meet the role requirements, your information may be shared with our client for the purposes of arranging an interview and progressing your application. 

We may also require further information from you in order to verify your right to work within the UK on behalf of our clients, or to validate other aspects of your employment or educational background. 

We may also retain your personal data in order to contact you regarding other roles which may be relevant to your skills and experience. 

We may use your anonymised data to compile salary or other surveys. 

We may use your contact information to keep you updated on our services and other activities. 

Except for the purposes of complying with legal or regulatory requirements, your personal data will not be shared with any organisation except our Clients, and solely for the purposes of progressing your suitability and application for employment.  


 

How we collect your Personal Information

Your personal information is collected by Hospitality Connection when you contact one of our consultants directly, submit your CV via our website, get in touch via one of our social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn or Facebook) or apply for one of our advertised vacancies either on our website or an external recruitment website (e.g. Indeed).

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing your personal data are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is kept securely stored on our in-house database. It is accessible only to Hospitality Connection’s recruitment team. 

We keep your personal information for a maximum of 3 years from your first contact with us. We will then dispose of your information securely.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
